Philosophy of Generosity

All that we have is a gift from God. Some currently enjoy a time of plenty, others a time of need. The Apostle Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 8 that all can be generous, even in extreme poverty. We also acknowledge that he reminds us that there are times when those in need will find their needs supplied by God through the plenty He gives to others, so that they might do likewise when circumstances improve.

While we greatly appreciate all gifts, it is our desire that those who are experiencing great need not add to their need by taking on further credit card debt. For us, the offerings we give go to much more than lights and air conditioning, they help people come to know Christ and his love for them.

All gifts are tax-deductible and will be accompanied by a statement which is distributed in January. Please contact the church office if you need assistance.

*We are charged about 2% to process the transaction. If you’d like to cover this cost (Totally optional!) with your donation simply multiply your donation amount by 1.02. (Donation amount) x (1.02). We only include this info because some folks have asked us about it.

Prayer of Thirty for Thirty

Q. What is CTK’s “Prayer of 30 for 30”?
A. It’s a prayer that 30 Saints will participate in ministry at a higher level by giving sacrificially during the year.

DETAILS
We are praying for you to join with our anonymous Saints and be one of the special anonymous people who deliver an extra blessing to CTK Ministries a few times per year.

We are praying for 30 families, (it does not have to be the same families each time)…

…We are praying for 30 families just like you, to be led by God and give an additional gift for ministry during the months that have exactly 30 days. That happens four times per year, April, June, September and November.

That is what we are calling our “Prayer of 30 for 30”.

We pray that 30 people would be led to share a gift of $1,000 above and beyond their normal giving, during those four “30 for 30” months.

Please know that any amount is helpful for our ministry efforts, Remembering the widows mite from Mark Chapter 12.

At CTK…

We have a Christian School doing a fantastic job reaching families.

We have a Christian Counseling Center to help with the hurting.

We have Christian Worship & Bible Studies for our community of believers.

We have a Food Bank to meet the earthly needs of our neighbors.

All of these things rely on your resources to continue.
